Which Boat Rental is Right for You?

You’re planning an exciting getaway to the Jordanelle Reservoir or perhaps Jordanelle State Park, and you know that you want to spend plenty of time out on the lake. However, you just can’t quite decide which boat rental from Jordanelle Rentals & Marina would be best. As you consider your options—ski boat, pontoon boat, or fishing boat, here are a few questions to consider.

1. How many people are in your group?

If you’re traveling with a large group, then your best bet to accommodate everyone may be a pontoon boat. Our pontoons can fit up to 15 people, depending on which model you choose. That allows you to cruise the reservoir together, enjoying the sights, and having some water fun. However, if your group is small, you may prefer a ski boat that has a bit more get-up-and-go and allows you to enjoy some water sports as well.

2. What’s your budget?

You can’t rent a boat without considering the bottom line. Be sure to determine how much you want to spend on a boat rental, and then assess which boat is best or how long you want to rent it based on your vacation budget. What you want to do out on the lake will determine which boat rental works best. For a slower-paced cruise, we recommend a pontoon boat rental for maximum comfort and amenities. If you want to water ski or go tubing, then a ski boat rental will definitely be your boat of choice.
